Joan Morrison, RN
Joan Morrison is a compassionate Registered Nurse with extensive experience in
children’s care. Her first nursing role was working at MD Anderson Cancer Center as an RN in the Pediatric Oncology Center.
Her exposure to critically and chronically ill children
ignited the passion and solidified her career goal of working with children. After leaving MD Anderson she worked in the home health care industry for two years.
Missing the day-to-day interaction and care of children, she sought out and earned the position of a school nurse at one of Houston’s most prestigious private schools. Her five years experience as a school nurse is what first exposed her to the tremendous need for KidsCaredFor. Her overall nine years o
f nursing experience and compassion for kids equips her to provide the extraordinary care sick and injured children deserve.
